In addition to the BMW Concept e, BMW is showing a second electric powered single-track vehicle at the 2011 Frankfurt International Motor Show, the Husqvarna Concept E-go. This is Husqvarna’s vision of an electric bike for the modern world. Made for urban commuting, riders get all the typical Husqvarna features: an “explosive mix of onroad, offroad and supermotard experience” says Husqvarna.

The Husqvarna Concept E-go has a striking angular design which is clearly a member of the Husqvarna family and weighs just 80kg (176 lbs). There are also exclusive technical innovations such as the single-sided front fork with two 35-mm tubes and an aluminum swingarm. The battery holder is also made of aluminum to keep weight down, the oval tube frame is made of steel, and the single seat is self-supporting.
