Custom BMW Motorcycle Parts Available from Roland Sands Design

With the introduction of the BMW Concept 90 in 2013, Roland Sands Design showed their ability to customize BMW motorcycles. The shop is best known for their work on V-twins but customers are now demanding parts for BMW’s Boxer. “The Concept Ninety and the series version of the nineT have brought a taste of something the people really want — and this hunger we want to feed,” says designer Roland Sands.

rsd-04Now Roland Sands Design and BMW Motorrad are working together to make custom parts available to the BMW Motorrad customers worldwide. Roland Sands Design will begin by offering custom parts for BMW Motorrad’s unique roadster, the R nineT. For example, an engine breast plate, valve covers, oil filler caps, the so-called flat out Enzo seat, a gauge housing, a headlight bezel, rear axle plugs and and other parts.

BMW says the parts will be available starting at the end of February 2015. They can be purchased through Roland Sands Design’s dealers and participating BMW Motorrad dealers. No word yet on which BMW Motorrad dealers will participate.
