BMW R1200RT (2010)

The 2010 BMW R1200RT is updated from the 2005 version through a mild fairing revision, new switchgear and a new dual overhead cam (DOHC) Boxer engine (seen previously on the 2010 BMW R1200GS). While the engine is the headline change, it does not outperform the previous version in either max horsepower or torque. This makes the 2010 update an evolutionary change. Which is fine with us, since the R1200RT was already at the top of the touring bike market.
