BMW Motorcycle Magazine is pleased to announce a major expansion into new retail outlets. In the United States, this means adding to our current distribution that includes Barnes & Noble, upscale bookstores, newsstands and select BMW motorcycle retailers, to availability also in Books-A-Million (the second largest book retailer in the nation) and the Book World chain. We’ve added circulation as well to Military Exchanges and college bookstores such as Boston U, Dartmouth and DePaul, exposing the BMW Motorcycle Magazine to younger riders.
With the growing community of BMW riders in English-speaking countries around the world, especially Canada, expansion there was also included. Coverage was attained in all major provinces by adding Chapters Books, Indigo Books, Wal-Mart Canada, Mac’s East, Mac’s West, Co-Op Grocery Stores, Husky and various other newsstand, bookstore, supermarket and drug store outlets. Along with our previous coverage in the UK, we have also expanded distribution into Australia, Germany and Italy through various outlets.
“While we’re proud of online subscriber sales through our bmwmcmag.com website, Amazon.com and our five-star app for the iPad and iPhone, sales from a wide distribution of retailers provides exposure to another important market,” says Sandy Cohen, editor of BMW Motorcycle Magazine. “New or young riders are more easily introduced from single-issue sales to BMW’s wide variety of motorcycles and riding styles covering off-road adventure and long-distance touring, sport and racing to heritage café racers and scooters.”
